The Nutcracker Ballet

Join us for a magical journey through the Land of the Sweets, where sugar plum fairies dance, and toy soldiers come to life!

The Nutcracker Ballet promises to be an enchanting performance with breathtaking choreography, dazzling costumes, and unforgettable moments!

Students Enrolled into our Dance Program through any ballet class that we offer, performs in our Winter Show.

Our full cast of all dancers enrolled in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and MORE, perform in our Company Showcase and Spring Ballet.

The Nutcracker Ballet is a wonderful opportunity for your dancer to participate in a ballet holiday classic!

If you have a dancer who enjoys ballet we highly recommend auditioning for the Nutcracker. This will be an experience they will never forget. 

Commitment Level

  • Dancers who are Casted in the Nutcracker Ballet must be enrolled in at least one weekly ballet class or has prior experience.

  • At Industry, we offer : Combo Classes of Ballet & Tap, Baby Ballerinas, Company Ballet, Private Ballet Classes, and Advanced Barre Work Classes

  • Nutcracker Ballet Classes begin Saturday, September 19th.

  • Followed by the 7 Week Course:

  • October 3rd, 17th, 24th

  • November 7th & 21st and December 5th.

  • Class Practice Times: Practices will be held on Saturdays at Industry Dance Company between 9:00am - 2:00pm. Specific times are received through email of casted dancers.

  • Extra Practice Times: Please note that there may be 1-2 extra practices called during the 10 weeks. 

  • Attendance: Each dancer can be excused from TWO practices. Stage Rehearsal, Dress Rehearsal and Performances are mandatory attendance.

  • EPS Photography GROUP & INDIVIDUAL Photography Session: November 14th & 15th 2026

  • What does the Audition Process look like?

    Dancers will learn a Combination within their Audition time and will perform in groups to demonstrate their performance skills, flexibility and ability to execute the choreography.

    Hair & Attire

    Hair Slicked & Maintained Ponytail or Bun.

    Form fitting dance attire that makes your dancer feel most CONFIDENT in a Leotard, Ballet Shoes, and Pink Tights.

    Private Auditions

    Dancers transferring from other training facilities have the option to schedule a Private Audition to fulfill their prior commitments. We want all dancers to feel the most confident stepping foot into Auditions. If dancer can attend Auditions on September 6th, we can disclose names for privacy when Cast Announcements are made.

  • STAGE/DRESS REHEARSAL

    • Dress Rehearsal will be held on the week of Show Weekend with costumes (for lighting, staging and professional photos).

    • Run Throughs will be held on:

      Week of Show 5:00pm - 8:00pm

    • Final Dress Rehearsal will be held on:

    • Day Before Show from 5:00pm -7:00pm

  • The Nutcracker Ballet is for all dancers! Our Open Audition is to welcome dancers in the area & include them in our wonderful Christmas spectacular!

  • Yes, all dancers who participate must take ballet! No worries if you’re currently not enrolled - lets get your dancer signed up today!

  • AN IMFORMATIONAL EMAIL WILL BE SENT OUT OF OUR 2026 CAST LIST FOLLOWED BY YOUR DANCER’S REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

    IF A DANCER IS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT INDUSTRY DANCE COMPANY BALLET CLASS, COMBO CLASS OF BALLET/TAP OR BABY BALLERINAS, THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE PERFORMING IN THE NUTCRACKER BALLET FOR THEIR GROUP ROUTINE!

  • Please come prepared with tights, leotard, and ballet shoes!
